I had problems with the character Sarah from the start, not enough to distract me from the weak plot line but enough to make me take notice. And it is not a problem to ask someone who drinks regularly to see if they can stop for 30 days or some small period of time just to see how they feel and see what that reveals about how they use alcohol. So I do not think it is crazy to be concerned about it especially given his family history. I really hope the counseling helps and I am sorry for your loss.
But the movie’s strength is that it’s told from the perspective of citizens who are immigrants or descended from immigrants hair extensions, adding a dimensionality that complicates the issue. 1) Use a good quality condom that is new, and well before the expiry date. Every condom has an expiration date on the package, so just take a look at it before you open one. Be sure you’re also using a condom that hasn’t been kept anywhere where it can get worn or too warm or cold (it isn’t a good idea to keep them in your car, wallet or pocket for that reason)..
